OOTD: Unknown Pleasures

Eyelashes: eBay

Velvet Boots: Topshop

This is my boyfriend's tee & I've stolen it whilst he's at work. I keep meaning to buy my own so I can take off the sleeves and slash the neck to make it a little more "feminine". The album artwork for Unknown Pleasures is actually one of my favourite record sleeves of all time. I've even considered getting it tattooed on the inside of my wrist, but this is probably just a flying thought that will never materialise.

I joined the gym this week as I've been wanting to for ages. There's a lovely gym right by where I work so I've been going before work. I'm sick of complaining about how much I hate my figure so it's time to actually do something about it! I also went for my first yoga lesson today, which is something I've been meaning to get into for a while. I loved it! It's pretty difficult though, I ended up in positions I never thought possible! I can feel the benefits already though, my muscles have been relaxed all day!

A couple of weeks ago I ordered eyelashes from Hong Kong on a whim. I thought why not as they were selling 40 pairs for 99p. My lashes never last more than 2 outings so rather than pay £5 a pair, I figured 99p for 40 pairs is more appropriate. As you can see a couple of them got damaged in the shipping, but I'm not going to complain. What do you expect for under a pound? Obviously they're not going to be the best quality, but I've got some on now and they're not irritating at all. You can pick them up from this seller.

I also invested in the Artwork blue velvet boots from Topshop recently. Topshop really have not impressed me with their A/W line that's in the Southampton store at the moment, but their boots have certainly won me over again! They were £75 like the Allegras, which is a bit more than I usually spend on shoes but hey-ho they're ever so pretty and certainly are a new welcome addition to the family.

Trilby: Warehouse | Sheer Shirt: New Look | Rosary Beads: Rome | Allegra Boots: Topshop

Allegra Boots: Topshop

This is a quick outfit post from what I wore on Saturday night out with the lovely Toni. I bought the Allegras a few weeks ago and they were so hard to get hold of! My local Topshop only had a size 4 left and I'm an awkward 4.5, so I usually get a size 5 rather than squeeze into a 4. However, I decided these were worth the pain! Luckily though a week later I went in to Topshop again and they had a size 5 sitting there, so I exchanged them straight away, so now they're a much better and less painful fit!

From my recent trip to Rome, I acquired lots and lots of rosary beads from the Vatican City. I've always wanted genuine rosaries, rather than some from the high street and the ones I'm wearing in this photo are a pale pink and were bought from some nuns in St. Peter's Basilica in Rome! I'm waiting on developing a few more sets of film from my trip, so I'll upload the pictures pretty soon.

I'm making a quick visit home to London tomorrow, then back to Southampton Wednesday night.

I wish I was the moon

Playsuit: ASOS
Belt: Dorothy Perkins

Ring: ASOS

Jumper: Blonde+Blonde

Today's outfit is just a lot of old pieces teamed together. I opted for the playsuit because it is so humid today! It seems finally the English summer has arrived, I rather wish I was at the beach rather than waiting around until 5pm to go to work. Instead I have spent my day indoors catching up on the latest True Blood and listening to Ed Sheeran on repeat. I hate to jump on the bandwagon but I do love him! Also, today's blog title is taken from the latest True blood episode. I am completely and utterly in love with Eric Northman! Even more so now he has memory loss! He's tall, blonde and beautiful.

The playsuit was a little bargain from ASOS a few months ago. I think it was only £16 or something silly! The necklace I'm wearing was originally a pocket watch, but it broken on a drunken night out. Whoops! It works just as well as a necklace though! The ring was also another ASOS sale bargain but I bought it well over a year ago, it's rather inconvenient on an everyday basis though as it's so large.

The cable knit jumper was my only purchase this week. We received a new brand at work called Blonde+Blonde at work and this lovely, oversized jumper was my favourite piece! I couldn't resist! I actually adore the whole brand, it's very American style grunge with lots of dark heavy knits and black florals. I'm sure to post about the brand at some point this week.
