I'm almost certain everyone and their mothers has heard of Black Milk Clothing before, a clothing company based in Australia specialising in high-impact digital print garments. As far as I'm aware it was them who first introduced the trend that is galaxy leggings that now the likes of Topshop & Miss Selfridge are producing dupes of. Having tried on the Topshop versions I have never been satisfied, and nor do I think I ever will be until I own a pair directly from Black Milk. At around £60 a pop though they're not something you can justify recklessly purchasing. However, I've had my eye on the purple galaxies for around a year now and I'm not sure the longing is going to disappear anytime soon.

More of their beautiful leggings have also caught my eye over the past few months, including the Aurora print and the cross of St. Peter in black. Unfortunately, I haven't quite mastered how to grow a money tree yet, so realistically I'm looking at only looking at one pair to grace my legs. I think the purple galaxies could be indeed the ones that were made for me... Then again, £60 for a pair of leggings? Can I really bring myself to pay that? I certainly don't feel like they'll be a piece of clothing I'll keep for life, as I can't imagine myself strutting round town in them at 45 years old picking the kids up from school... or can I?! Do you own a pair of Black Milking leggings? Can you help with my dilemma?

  1. I know Missguided have got jeans in that cross pattern so they might end up bringing out leggings in the same. I think at such a high price the quality is going to be pretty good, but still, £60 is so much! They are a real statement piece though, and you'll probably find yourself wearing them to death, at least for a while!

  2. I'm in love with the galaxy print ones! Nevertheless, £60 is extortionate. I would never ever pay that much for leggings, no matter how gorgeous they are! xx

  3. Definitely get some, I got mine last summer and have never looked back. The quality is amazing, they feel like they will last forever, you don't get that annoying saggy bit round your knees that you usually get after wearing normal leggings a couple times and they are just too cool! They are a worthwhile investment :) x

  5. I borrowed my friends galaxy ones and wore them a couple of posts back on my blog so feel free to have a look and see what you think aha... I really wanted the galaxy print ones in November and kept putting it off and putting it off and now I feel like I'm too late to buy them, if I had them in November I'd have had like 5 months usage from them. However they look amazing and the quality is so good! I think I'm going to invest in some black milk leggings soon when I see a new design that really takes my eye and this time I am not putting it off aha!! xx
