Headband: Primark, £2 // Lace Bolero: Vintage via Charity Shop, £2 // Camisole: AllSaints, £40 // Bandeau: Accessorise Sale, £4 // Skirt: Urban Outfitters Sale (+ staff discount), £7.50 // Belt: Primark, 50p // Boots: Topshop, £75

I bought this skirt just yesterday whilst I was at work as it was only £10 in the sale. As you may know I love anything that has crosses on it and this midi skirt was no exception! Also the fact that it actually has pockets is an added bonus! Why is there such a lack of skirts and dresses with pockets these days? It's like pockets are restricted to just men, unless you're wearing jeans (which I very rarely do!). Well, guess what?! Sometimes I don't want to have to carry a bag around, so more pockets would be much appreciated! Rant about the slow extinction of pockets over.

I picked up this lace bolero in a charity shop in Essex a few years ago before I came to university. I actually forgot about it as it's lived at the back of the wardrobe since I've moved in. I suppose now the sun's beginning to show itself again I may just be swapping cardigans for boleros and kimonos now. I'm so excited because I am finally going to see The Hunger Games tonight! If you follow me on Twitter you might have seen my tweets about when I constantly had my head inside the book 24/7. I'm hoping the film lives up to the hype, because I am a book > movie girl. I'm also getting my tattoo tomorrow, which I am still stupidly nervous about! I keep having nightmares about it all going horribly wrong! It's not even my first tattoo!

  1. Love this outfit. The skirt is beautiful and such a great find! Cannot believe how little the whole outfit cost (minus the TS boots ofc)

Soo exciting about The Hunger Games. I have been to see it twice and it definitely does the book justice! I saw the first film before I read the book and then got home that evening and began devouring the first book straight away haha :L

Enjoy! Let me know whether you liked it.

I am now following you :)

  18. Oh this skirt id gorgeous! Can't believe it was in the sale, I never spotted it in UO! I esp love how you have mixed all the patterns together though, you have such a nack with clashing prints, I just look like a fool!
I'm with you on the pockets thing you know, esp living in london it's too much hassle having to search your bag for essentials all the time! xx
