Headband: Accessorize (old), £4 // Camisole: Urban Outfitters Sale (+ staff discount), £6 // Skirt: Urban Outfitters Sale (+ staff discount), £12 // Necklace: Present from a friend // Shoes: Urban Outfitters, 9p

It's been over a week since I last blogged and for that I apologise. I promised no more interruptions when it came to blogging over the summer, but unfortunately I hit a nail in the wood work last week when my three and a half year relationship came to an end and to be honest, blogging was the last thing on my mind. I've been a real Bridget Jones about it eating myself silly and drinking as much wine as I could possibly consume. However, it's time to pick up the pieces and move on with life now I've had my little mope because I have so many wonderful things in life already that haven't stood up and left me including this blog, my job, my degree and the most amazing set of friends a girl could ask for. I still intend on drinking as much wine as possible though!

Embarrassingly, once again my outfit is almost entirely Urban Outfitters. In fact, both the camisole and the skirt are a little too big for me but they both worked out so cheap I couldn't let them go. I really need to start buying clothes that actually fit rather than make-do with a belt sorting out the situation. I've spent the past week visiting back home in Essex in where I saw friends, did A LOT of charity shopping, tie-dying everything I own and met Jazzy for the first time. I'm a little gutted to be back in Southampton so soon...

  5. Oh leighhh I hope you're ok. I am the worst person at dealing with break ups so at least you can console yourself with the fact that you're dealing with it normally by indulging in chocolate and wine and not by going foetal.

Looking gorgeous as ever though, and this outfit is amazing xx

  6. Everyone needs a Bridget Jones moment after a break-up. Hope you're feeling ok, and if it helps you look amazing even if the clothes don't fit!! I always make do with wrong sizes, accidentally bought a size 22 top from eBay and I'm making it work! xx

  7. Oh dear, I hope you're okay! You look amazing, so your ex is clearly a fool! You have a great attitude though, not many people can just carry on so quickly like you're trying to, I know I'd certainly be indulging in Ben & Jerrys and wine for several more weeks! XO.

Eeek, I really need to start buying clothes which fit me as well and stop using "the belt will hold it up" as an excuse.

  22. well leigh my lovely pretty amazing sabrina the teenage witch obsessed lady, i am extremely sadenned for you with your relationship being over, but then i hold a little bit of hope that maybe this means you will now date me? i mean i am still ready to drop littlebum at the drop of a hat and sail of into the sunset with you (and your sabrina dvds) in the car i have waiting for you. but then obviously time is a healer. so for now, i understand wine and friends are what you need right now.
but remember pretty lady, it's ok to cry. and cry a lot, because then you have a great excuse to eat lots of chocolate, oh and shop. hmm i think i may come join you with this.xxxx

  26. I am in love with the necklace and the camisole <3 I'm sure everyone will understand you not feeling like blogging it's always horrible when a relationship comes to an end especially a long term one. I know as I've been there. You sound like you have a really positive attitude about it though and that's half the battle :) Oh and lots of wine + lots of amazing friends helps as well of course!

  29. What you've "lost" in him (come on, it's his loss, I'm not even going to try to lie) you've gained in me - ain't ya lucky?? I can't believe I've never come across your blog before, I love it! And you know, I love wine too, so I guess we've got that in common xxx

  30. You look fabulous! (Despite the breakup! Sorry though...)
Buying things that don't fit me is a bad habit of mine that I can't quite seem to break...

  31. Love this, especially that little fox necklace! Your hair look beautiful here too, so jealous of that colour & your perfect dip-dye!
So sorry to hear about the breakup, hope you're feeling a little better now, it's great you've been able to pick yourself up so quickly though! Keep drinking, shopping & hanging out with friends & you'll have forgotten him in no time, it's clearly his loss! :)

  32. You look lovely! I'm glad you are getting on with things, I know I would prob be stuck in a rut for longer than you have so you're obviously way stronger than you think at the moment. Its only normal to have some recovery time so at least you had that too. He is clearly missing out anyway and I'm sure he is stalking your blog and kicking himself!
