Sheer Lace Top*: c/o OASAP // Velvet Kimono: Minkpink via Urban Outfitters Sale (old), £30 // Bralet (worn underneath): New Look, @12 // Necklace: Matalan Sale, £2 // Pleather Leggings: New Look (REALLY old!)

This sheer, lace, asymmetrical hem dress/top was sent to me by OASAP. I love the way it's been patchworked with a patterned lace and a plain chiffon material, it really gives it a ragged, grungey feel. Ideally I'd love to team it over a black slip or a plain black bodysuit, but unfortunately my wardrobe doesn't possess either of those. Today I've just layered it with my acid wash bralet from New Look, my ancient pleather leggings I've had since I was around 16 years old and a velvet, burnout Minkpink, fringed kimono.

I only recently rediscovered this kimono and I've been wearing it with almost everything! As you can see winter's drawing nearer which means less hours of daylight in the day, which then means it's becoming more awkward to photograph my outfits. I'm contemplating getting rid of the ombré in my hair. I've already started to gradually lighten the top of my hair, so eventually it will be one colour all over and then I'm considering dying it a brighter orange all over. I'm even considering going blonde for a little bit to see if blondes do indeed have more fun...

  8. On anyone else, a kimono would look daft. On you, it's like you've walked straight out of an episode of Sabrina the Teenage Witch, in the BEST WAY POSSIBLE. Look at you in your statement hat. I've missed you and your blog! x ♥ Claire @ Jazzpad
