G O A L S | 2014 Edition

04 January, 2014

I'm not particularly one for resolutions, as I'm not exactly one for keeping them. If I tell myself I'll never touch a McDonald's all year before you know it I'll have a Big Mac sat in front of me and the unbearable feeling of failure. Instead of instructing myself to give up naughty treats I see no reason in not setting myself more realistic and positive goals. After all giving up McDonald's will certainly not contribute towards my happiness! So, for those of you that cannot read my illegible, childish handwriting, here we go:

  • GO TO MOROCCO!
  • Actually submit your FMP this year + get a degree!
  • Start writing that book you've always dreamed of!
  • DRAW EVERYTHING!
  • Realise your creative potential.
  • Be wiser with money (but not TOO wise - it's only paper after all!)
  • Catch up with old friends more often.
  • TELL LOVED ONES HOW MUCH THEY MEAN TO YOU MORE FREQUENTLY.
  • Go for walks just because...
  • Clear out your wardrobe - NO ONES NEEDS THAT MANY CLOTHES! NO ONE!
  • Discover a new religion.
  • GET ANOTHER TATTOO.
  • Save £££'s to travel the world in 2015.
  • GO TO THE GYM + STOP COMPLAINING ABOUT YOUR BODY!
  • Network like there's no tomorrow!
  • Get mermaid hair!
  • Stop binge drinking (unless it's a special occasion)
  • Find some sort of way out of being a shop floor whore!
  • BLOG MORE REGULARLY!
  • Discover new favourite movies
  • CONTINUE TO EDUCATE YOURSELF - THE WORLD IS FASCINATING!
  • Be happy! You only get one shot at this life after all!

There you have it! I know the gym one is a bit of a cliché, but I actually enjoy exercising and maintaining my fitness but I've been ever so slack in recent months. Also, I always say I'm going to clear out my wardrobe but only end up getting rid of like 5% of it. IT'S TIME TO BE BRUTAL! I'm bored of wading through a mountain of unworn clothes to get to the other side of my room every day! Have you set yourself any goals for the new year?
