Dress*: c/o Jones + Jones
Glasses: Camden Market
Bag*: c/o Nica
Skirt (worn underneath): H&M
Boots: Vagabond via Urban Outfitters

Now I know it's not Sunday, but it was this Sunday when I shot these photos, so the title seemed fitting anyway! After all, just how deliciously sixties, flower child is this shift dress from Jones + Jones? I cannot help but feel I'm a part of a new Wes Anderson flick when wearing it! It's absolutely magical. The only problem is it's not an ideal dress for us taller girls, but I tend to have that problem with a hell of a lot of dresses as it is. I'm 5 foot 9 and there's no way I could have stepped foot outside the house in it without my little lifesaver of a lace trim, body con, black skirt from H&M. It's an alternative option to lace trim cycling shorts and only cost me £3.99. If you're a little bit taller and face the same problem as me on a daily basis with all the gorgeous dresses out there then I really recommend you invest in one!

You'll have to excuse the fact I'm as pale as a ghost. Due to an impending final university deadline I haven't seen much sun, nor have I had the time to up my tanning game. These pale pins will have to pain me for just two more weeks until I am free forever! I feel like the only person to not have finished university for the summer at the moment and all I want to do is sit in the sun drinking beer all day. Two weeks, two weeks...

  5. I never thought to put a body con under a dress, I'm not tall but my legs are so much longer than my body so this is a winner for me!
