Evenings are beginning to get darker earlier, rain has began spotting the UK and the high street is full of AW14 stock. Could this be it? Could summer really be over? It's only mid-August! Usually I'm excited for the arrival of Autumn as I adore autumnwWinter dressing, but this year I'm actually sad to see summer go. I feel as if I've finally built up a capsule summer wardrobe of vintage maxi dresses and embellished crops that I've loved wearing the past season. I've got to admit though there's something that's just a little more sophisticated about A/W dressing. After all, I'll get to don my many faux fur coats and velvet can once again be a staple part of my outfits. Let's not forget Christmas! Oh Christmas! I'm so excited already!

As the weather took a turn I sported my first Autumn inspired outfit of the season. Missguided gifted me this jacket in the spring, but I was only able to wear it once before summer hit, so it'll definitely be seeing me through this autumn. I love how expensive and luxurious it looks. It could easily pass as an Acne number. My love for slip-on skate style shoes is getting a little out of hand and these holographic ones by Truffle from Shoe Zone are my most recent additions. When browsing the Shoe Zone website I was actually surprised by how much on site I wanted as usually it's a shop I just pass by on the high street. They have a vast selection of on trend, affordable shoes and I'll definitely be popping in more often from now on. The holographic upper bounces so well off of the embellished cuffs of these Zara joggers of dreams. One thing I love just as much as Christmas is a Zara sale! These joggers cost me a little less than £10 and I had my beady eyes on them when they were full price at £30!
