Denim Jacket: Charity Shop // Jumper: Zara // Hat: ASOS//
These photos were shot a couples of weeks back at Brick Lane with the darling Laura from That's So Yesterday. We popped by Beyond Retro as it's pretty much compulsory now every time we're that way, as well as mooching about Rough Trade and grabbing a delicious burger and beer from Cafe 1001.
Now although the walls of Brick Lane, the surrounding winding alleyways and every other crevice is splattered with street art this wonderful wall of colour just drew us in! Like typical bloggers we took full advantage of the perfect backdrop for our outfit photos.
I found this long line, vintage, denim jacket for a fiverrrr in a charity shop a few weeks ago. Initially it was going to be a part of a LFW outfit, but it didn't quite make the cut in the end. It's perfect for the denim trend that's dominating this SS15 and luckily it hardly made a dent in my pocket.
This was the first time wearing my culottes from Topshop since I bought them in the autumn. I'm not sure why I've avoided wearing them for so long because they're fan-bloody-tastic! I'm all aboard the culotte bandwagon from now on! These faux leather ones are still available over on the Toppers website here and they're ideal as the weather's getting a little warmer.
What do you think of the denim trend?
