A few weeks ago I was invited to attend a brand new dining experience that has hit Hampshire. Asparagus & Cucumber is a pop-up restaurant that travels across the county of Hampshire with a different venue and different menu every six weeks or so. The debut menu, hosted at Romsey Football Club, was based a best of British theme.
Pizza & Cider at The Stable, Winchester
19 March, 2016
One Sunday afternoon back in February, James and myself took a train out to Winchester to spend the afternoon sampling ciders and stuffing our faces with pizza at The Stable with a bunch of other Hampshire blogging buds. I mean, is there any better way to spend your Sunday afternoon?! Before you get smart with that rhetorical question and answer it, let me stop you and declare: no, there is not.
Gourmet Burger Kitchen Southampton Opening Night
16 March, 2016
When I moved to Southampton five years ago, it was a little sparse on the food scene.
Although its shopping has always been great (we do have one of the biggest malls in Europe, fyi), the food and bar situation was always a little thin on the ground. Dotted with student nightclubs, one too many Wetherspoons, late night kebab houses and fried chicken joints it didn't have too much to offer for a self-confessed foodie like myself.

Blue Suede Fringed Jacket & 70's Prints
15 March, 2016
Hat*: ASOS // Fringed Jacket*: Loot Vintage // Bra*: Ann Summers // Shirt: Vintage via Charity Shop // Waistcoat: Vintage via Charity Shop // Belt*: Beyond Retro // Skirt*: Motel via DIZEN // Boots: DUO // Bag: Charity Shop
A girl can never have too many suede, fringed jackets. FACT.
If you saw my HUGE London vintage haul (if ya didn't, get your sweet little ass here and watch it)you might have seen me gushing over this tasseled, 80's inky blue number in my video. I'm not usually an 80's kinda girl, but the oversized shoulders and cinched waist of it just won my heart. I'm building up an archive of suede, fringed jackets; it won't be too long until I have one from every era!

I'M BAAAACKKKK!
I've put my face on YouTube again, but this time I'm rambling on about my love affair with homewares right now. I CAN'T STOP BUYING SHIT. Have a look at what I've bought over the past few months from TK Maxx, Homesense, Primark, TIGER & charity shops.
Oxfam's Decades of Vintage Style & Fashion
09 March, 2016
I can't say I ever usually take part in things like this, but when an invite to apply for one of Oxfam's upcoming faces for their new vintage campaign I just couldn't hold back my enthusiasm. COUNT ME IN! As someone who practically lives in vintage and charity shops trying to hunt down pre-loved garments and bric-a-brac, I just could not be more eager about this opportunity!
I'm a 70's girl through and through; I was just born in the wrong era. If you take a gander back through my blog, I think it's easy to see just how inspired I am by bell bottoms flares, paisley prints and garish interiors. Fuelled by a love of the seventies lifestyle, music and fashion I do attempt to echo it in my everyday contemporary life. In fact, the majority of my vintage garments actually come from charity shops like Oxfam and there's nothing I love more than rummaging through secondhand stores and finding one-off treasures from another decade. There's something charming about owning something that has a story from another era and then giving it a new lease of life. In fact, I go 'treasure hunting' around my local shops at least once at week and always come back with more than I can carry! The majority of my own personal style muses are seventies soul sisters such as Pamela Courson, Steve Nicks and Jane Birkin. I'd absolutely love to be considered to represent Oxfam's face of the 1970's.

GIFT GUIDE | T2 Tea Cup & Saucer Set
02 March, 2016
Tea Ware Gift Set*: T2
It's Mother's Day this upcoming Sunday and if you're not prepared, then it's time to get your backside into gear as it'll be Sunday morning before you know it!
If your mother is part of the tea appreciation society like myself, then maybe a gift from T2 Tea will be the answer. T2's branding absolutely sings out to me personally as I am taken with their bohemian prints, bold and bright designs and their incredible range of loose leaf teas. There's nothing I love more than a cupboard stocked to the brim with an array of rich, spicy and sweet teas. I often find if I have a late night sugar craving, I can cure it with a delicious chai or fruit infusion.
When this vibrant, geometric, patchwork box arrived from T2 I almost jumped with joy. They had surprised me with their Love, Friendship & Tea Pack. First impressions are always important, so if the outer packaging excites you then you're usually on to a winner! Tucked comfortably inside was an eclectically patterned cup and saucer teamed with a spoon and an infuser, as well as a box of French Earl Grey. T2 also kindly sent me a few other boxes of tea to tickle my tastebuds. These included their chai, orange pekoe and their "Gorgeous Geisha" which is infused with strawberries and cream - YUM!
If you're looking for a last minute Mother's Day gift then T2's wonderful tea emporium may inspire you!
