OOTD: Today, I look like a Christmas Tree

03 December, 2011

Cardigan: Vintage, Dress: Mela Loves London, Tights: Topshop, Turban: Vintage, Shoes: Primark

I woke up this morning feeling rather festive, as it is December afterall! So, I teamed together some red and some green and threw in some glitter to top it all off! I even painted my nails a glittery red today to fit with the whole theme! I'm not even sure why I'm in the Christmas spirit as I'm spending it alone because of working in Southampton, but hey-ho!

I've had this dress since the end of summer sale and it was only a mere £10 down from £30. It's quite thick, so it's suitable for these winter months! I should really start wearing more green as it works so well with my hair. I discovered this tapestry cardigan in a charity shop a couple of years ago and it's been ever so loyal to me through festivals and the winter months. The turban was also another little vintage purchase from a charity shop, it's a beautiful red velvet and we all know how I like a bit of velvet! I think these shoes are one of the best purchases I've ever made from Primark. I bought them a little while back for only £8! They were originally £16, but they are the comfiest heels I own and they go with pretty much everything!

Also, I won these wonderful Little Nell crucifix earrings in the beautiful Vicky's giveaway from #GOLLYGOSH. I love anything that features crucifixes, so they're perfect! I can't wait to wear them!

I found this ring whilst passing through Debenhams the other day in the Topshop concession. It was only £1.50 too! I always manage to find myself cheap jewellery from that concession. I am completely and utterly skint at the moment though and have £50 to live off for the next month, so I'm going to spend a Saturday night in for once and watch X Factor. Staying in is the new going out... who am I kidding?

  1. That cardigan is a beauty! And kudos on the discount on that dress - I've been searching for one similar but I can't find any with thick enough material for this horrible wind.
