OOTD: Snowflake Tights

05 February, 2012

DRESS: H&M, £20. SNOWFLAKE TIGHTS: TOPSHOP SALE, £3. CREEPERS: UNDERGROUND, £90.

Although it may not be snowing in Southampton right now, it is still bloody freezing! I bought these tights a couple of weeks ago in the Topshop sale for just £3 and I had the intention of putting them away until next winter, however I think the weather has turned out cold enough for me to debut them. They're ever so thick and cosy and will be keeping be warm all day! Also, look at me blogging my outfits three days in a row! Are you bored yet?

Also, I desperately need your opinions on a hair issue! I've been dying my hair ginger for well over three years now, but I really want to dye my hair powder pink! Charlotte Free style (if you don't know who she is, google her NOW). I've had this urge for around a year & it's not going away. I am however scared of it going horribly wrong and I know it's going to completely damage my hair, because I'll have to pre-lighten it. Opinions, people? Should I or shouldn't I? It's strange how protective I am over my hair now, considering when I was about 15 years old it would change colour on a monthly basis! I suppose if I do end up dying it pink, I could always go back to ginger easily enough. Oh, I don't know!

  1. Try Fudge Paintbox extreme colours, apparently they are quite gentle on the hair, blogger Sarah Luxe uses it. If not, do a strand test to make sure you'll like the overall result. try out the method of blusher and hairspray I've done it before and it works well. A good wash in, wash out short-term alternative. x

  2. Cute tights and love that dress! About the hair...I'm not so sure just because you suit ginger SO well and a lighter colour may not suit your complexion AND would mess up the entire colour scheme of your wardrobe!! How about doing a slight dip dye jobby and just having powder pink in strands through the bottom layer of your hair? That would look nice and is less likely to go really really wrong, I'll help you if you need :D xx
