OOTD: Poppy Red

01 March, 2012

Hat: Vintage via Beatnik Emporium, £23. Black Cardigan: Present from a few Christmases ago. Red Dress: 1970's Vintage via Glastonbury Festival, £8. Studded Leather Bag: Urban Outfitters Sale, £15. Studded Pumps (old): Urban Oufitters, 9 pence!

This what I wore to uni today and yes, you did read that correctly these pumps only cost me 9 pence! A few years ago they popped up on the Urban Outfitters website in the sale section and their price was slashed from £36 to 9p! Now, I've got a feeling this may have been a glitch on the website because 9p is ridiculous! However, they honoured the price and sent me the shoes! I also have them in grey (which were also just 9p) and they've lasted for a good few years of heavy wear. Now you all know what a cheapskate I am!

Also, this is the bag I posted about a few days ago, which was originally £140! I must admit, I do find the best bargains. I'm like the David Dickinson of the blogging world! I've had this dress almost two years and I realised I have NEVER worn it! What is wrong with me?! I think it's because I tend to shy away from red for fear of looking like a giant tomato! It's also one of those dresses that looks better when worn than on the hanger.

  6. ahaha, a tomato. Yeah, I shy away from red too, and I actually used to love it. I think it's because my boyfriend told me that he hates red, so now I'm scared that if I wear it, he'll think I'm a hideous freak =/
