OOTD: Hey Lolita, Hey

14 April, 2012

Blazer: Urban Outfitters Sale + Discount, £15 | Dress: Urban Outfitters Sale + Discount, £15 | Ankle Socks: Primark, £1.50 | Shoes: Urban Outfitters, 9p | Pocket Watch: New Look, £7.

The 9p shoes have returned, in fact I wear them pretty much all the time! They must work out at about 0.000001p per wear! If you have no idea what I'm going on about I blogged about them here in a previous outfit post. I actually wore this outfit to work a few weeks ago, but never got around to shooting it. I loved the combination of colours so much that I wore exactly the same today! I must admit I had to switch to black tights once I noticed it was raining outside! Bare legs just wouldn't have been appropriate! As I'm typing this I've also just noticed I have one blazer sleeve rolled up and one down - what a doofus!

I'm absolutely hating my hair at the moment. Excuse the emo fringe circa. 2006. I was hoping to achieve a sultry Jessica Rabbit look with the side fringe but instead I am left with a reminder of my 15 year old self and the awful blinding fringe she had. I really need to get it styled ASAP. I think I have a genuine fear of the hairdresser though. I avoid going there like the plague. I think it's because every single time I get my hair cut I come away unhappy that they've hacked off what could have been beautiful mermaid locks. My student loan came through today so I went shopping for goodies and summer bits which I'll post about soon!

  10. I absolutely love this dress. And I think your hair looks gorgeous! I'm terrified of the hairdressers, mainly because I am so, so bad at small talk even though my hairdresser is lovely!

  15. What a pretty dress! The colours are gorgeous, and it makes me think of the ocean which is always a nice reminder of holidaying! I actually think the fringe does have a Jessica Rabbit feel to it, but know the plight of trying to find the perfect fringe & fear of hairdressers hacking it all off just as it gets long!

  16. Looking lovely as ever! Can I have your legs? They actually look so flawless! Is it creepy to say that? I don't know..

And the hair IS Jessica Rabbit and NOT emo kid

  18. I'm seeing so many good things being posted from urban outfitters at the moment! Love this outfit. If only UO wasn't so damn expensive normally, it would be the only shop I shop in! Can't believe what bargains you got this whole outfit for!!! I never ever find things this cheap in there, or not this nice anyway! xx

    sweet monday
