Fedora hat: H&M, £12.99

Trousers: Zara, £9.99
Boots: Urban Outfitters, £7.50

I have to apologise for the quality of these photos as my camera is currently on it's death bed so I'm having to resort to my trusty iPhone 4s! I'm intending to finally invest in a Canon 600d, when my student loan shows it's sweet face in my bank account. I'm hoping that's going to be any day now! I wanted this coat as soon as it came in at work, but unfortunately the £145 price tag was non-negotiable. Originally it went down to £70 in the post Christmas sale, and I was tempted, but I'm so glad I waited! The price was slashed in half again and I only paid £21 with my staff discount. To be fair it's almost identical to a favourite Topshop coat of mine, but this one is a little longer and my Topshop one is looking a little worse for wear nowadays. It's actually still available online here.

These dogtooth trousers from Zara were also another sale purchase that were featured in my most recent haul. I originally purchased them at £16.99 in the sale, but returned them for feeling guilty that I had spent a lot this month. However, when I went back into Zara I saw they'd been reduced yet again so I re-purchased them. They're not the most ideal trousers as they are low-rise and I hate low rise anything! However they fit rather nicely around the leg and I've found I can disguise the low rise with longer tops and jumpers. I've never been much of a trousers wearer due to being a little self aware of my bottom half, but I'm embracing them more and more.

It was my birthday on Monday and that's it... I'm 23 years old now, which I'm finding a little hard to take in. Taylor Swift hasn't brought out a song to make me feel any better about it either like she did last year.

  10. I think for an iphone 4s the quality of these photos are pretty good! although perhaps that's because the camera on my phone is pretty scratched up, but this outfit is so lovely and the coat looks super cosy and what a bargain for it!
