Yes, I'm mentioning the C-word already. C-H-R-I-S-T-M-A-S. It is November after all, so I deem it acceptable to start thinking about what I'll be wearing on Christmas day! Anyone who knows me will know how much I love Christmas. In fact, I think I love it more now than I ever did as a kid. The lead up to the 25th really is the most wonderful time of year as everyone's spirit is lifted and there are fairy lights EVERYWHERE and I'm a big fan of fairylights! The atmosphere, albeit a little stressed, really is magical.

Christmas day itself, for me, is a little more relaxed than the initial build up. It's a day of rest, booze and food with my mum and sister. If we're feeling a little adventurous we'll wander up to the pub that's around a 30 second walk from our house! It's not much of a glitzy affair, which is why I usually dress for comfort.

I'll be entirely truthful with you. The first half of the day is probably spent in my pyjamas or onesie, because it's Christmas day and you can get away with lazing around in your PJ's! Before dinner is served up, I'll get dressed into something comfortable that'll keep my inevitable food baby under wraps. This 60's, paisley smock dress from George is actually the perfect disguise to keep that extra serving of roast potatoes hidden! I teamed them with these pull-on, knee high boots to add to 60's vibes.

During the lead up to Christmas in December, George will be showcasing 25 different bloggers' Xmas day style over on their brand new blog including lil ol' me! Be sure to have a nosey every day in December.

What do you usually wear on Christmas day?
