Oh these boots! Oh, these boots, these boots, THESE BOOTS! I only received them a few days ago from DressLily and I can't deny I absolutely adore them! I even wore them for an entire shift at work today and I received a ton of compliments on them already. I will admit by the end of the day my feet were killing me, but they're a lot more comfortable than most heels I own and I think after a few wears in they'll be like walking on air! The platform is actually made from a soft, foam-like material so they're ever so light and easy to wear, which is always a plus as most of my chunky boots weigh so much that my legs are always aching by the end of the day. And guess what, they only cost a little over $18, which is an absolute steal! You can purchase them here.

I'm pretty happy with this mixed check print, red shirt too which only set me back £2. I always go a little crazy for the H&M final reductions when stuff is either £1 or £2 and end up with a load of crap I never actually wear. However, this shirt is pretty standard apart from the mixed check which is a bit different from other plaid shirts that are around on the high street, so I think this will evade the 'crap' pile that ends up on eBay after a few months. I hope you're having a good weekend! I'm about to curl up with a cup of tea and The Great Gatsby as I'm a bit late to the party in seeing it!

  5. Oooh I'm loving those boots too, I need some patent in my life! What did you think to Gatsby? I was a massive fan, thought it was beautifully done. Saying that, I'm a fan of anything Baz does so it was a no-brainer! <3 Claire @ Jazzpad
