Dress: Kiss The Sky
Leather Jacket*: AllSaints via John Lewis
Boots*: Kurt Geiger
The day I was wearing this outfit a little girl thought I was a witch, but in all honesty I'm okay with that. After all, as soon as the nights begin to darken and the days get colder, my style inspiration always tend to take a more gothic turn; it's the little part of my teenage MySpace emo heart that will never die. < / 3
Another autumn to winter necessity for my wardrobe is a staple pair of black leather ankle boots to compliment my forever-loved AllSaints leather biker jacket. My trusty pair of Vagabond boots that appeared in a considerable amount of blog posts finally fell apart last year and I've been searching for a suitable replacement since the day they departed. Unfortunately I didn't have much luck in finding a pair that were a combination of comfortable, hardwearing and stylish as they were all just a little too high for daywear or just not quite right aesthetically.
It seemed to be a never-ending conquest to find the perfect winter ankle boot, until I began to trawl through the Kurt Geiger website and I spotted their Saint boots. These boots were everything I was searching for and more! Not only are they comfortable for a day of walking around in, but they have that western vibe to them which falls perfectly into the rest of my wardrobe. The contrast of the matte to glossy leather detail makes a subtle statement without being too garish.
Quite frankly, I am besotted with these boots.
These photos were once again shot in Southampton's beautiful old tudor town and will most likely be my last photos shot here before I up sticks back to the big smoke of London. I've yo-yoed between the two cities for the past six years, but this time is looking to be my last in the coastal city. Whilst it's extremely sad, it's also pretty damn exciting too!
London, let's do this!
