The Post #PetalParty Blues

08 May, 2016

You may have seen it all over my social channels last week or you may have already read my previous post regarding my excitement at attending Boots' #PetalParty. Yep, you read that right: A PETAL PARTY! It was held in a bid to raise awareness for night time hayfever, which they have suitably named Insneezia (kudos to whoever came up with that genius name!) and it was BLOOMIN' marvellous!

From 7pm - 8pm last Wednesday, Boots took over St. Christopher's Place in London and showered the streets with a flurry of petals (three million to be exact - I feel for the person that counted them!), which I can only describe as 'the most Instagramable moment in the history of time'.

Lauren Pope was on hand to provide the soundtrack for the evening as petals rained continuously from the sky whilst the inhabitants of St. Christopher's Place danced beneath them in the springtime sunshine. Those passing by on their evening commute through the streets couldn't help but pause and join in the celebrations. The atmosphere was electric! It was the perfect way to get in the mood for the spring and summer months! Luckily, the weather was on our side and the sun kept shining throughout the evening.

Boots have put together a list of tips and tricks for Insneezia sufferers to make their lives and sleeping patterns a little easier this summer. If you suffer from hayfever or Insneezia, take note of the tips below, so you can actually enjoy this summer!

I'd like to say huggggeeee thank you to Boots for hosting such an incredible event and pulling off such an amazing evening. I absolutely cannot wait for next year's #PetalParty, which I can only expect will be bigger and better!
